Your Help Makes all of the difference
The spring carnival represents the combined efforts of our local families, residents, businesses, and school staff working together to support Osceola students.
It is true when they say, "It takes a village."
That is never more evident than when the PTA seeks the support of our community-at-large to contribute to the spring carnival by donating funds, raffle prizes, silent auction items, baked goods for our cake walk, or valuable time.

The PTA has a dedicated team of people that are coordinating the donations portion of the Spring Carnival. They are working closely with our area businesses and community to support fundraising for this event. If you would like to contribute as a business or community member, here's how you can support our efforts:

RAFFLE ITEMS
Each year, the PTA raffle off approximately 75 items! That's a lot of stuff. This portion of our carnival is what allows for us to support initiatives such as the Teacher Grant Program where we give back an average of $4,000 to our students by fulfilling requests made by our educators to enhance our classrooms with BIG things like Promethean boards, wireless microphones, a new table saw, and microscopes - to little things like flashlights for a fun way to promote "Lights Out" reading.

This year, we are requesting for you to consider the donation of a tangible item with a value of $25 or greater to support our raffle. Why so specific? We did our homework and looked at what was both popular and needed. In particular, kids that are attending often don't have very many items to choose from.
If you would like to donate an item, or funding to support the raffle (the PTA will purchase an item on your behalf), please contact Mara Bowman, our Donation Chairperson. Donations can be received up until May 4th. The sooner the better as we can then ensure that you are recognized for your contribution here and at the carnival.
FUNDING & SPONSORSHIP
This year, we are trying a new wristband model for our carnival. Each child receives a wristband for entry allowing for them to play unlimited games and still "win" all of the great prizes at our redemption center. To do this, we have been seeking Corporate Sponsors to sponsor a booth. For $100, your business can sponsor a game or booth and know that your funding is supporting the maintenance of our games along with providing prizes, adding entertainment value, and most importantly, keeping this a low-cost event for families to attend.

The PTA is also accepting donations in any amount to support enhancing the look and feel of our event. Our decorations need replacing, volunteers need feeding, and flyers need printing.

If you would like to make a donation, you may contact our Donation Chair, Mara Bowman. Or you may mail your contribution directly to the Osceola PTA c/o OES, PO Box 128, Osceola, WI 54020. Please enclose a note to let us know who to thank and indicate if you have a specific request for use of your funding.
